Thought of the Week

Behavior Design Thought of the Day

People tend to value things that they own more highly than things they don’t. Once we feel like something is “ours,” we form a strong attachment to it, beyond any rational appreciation of its actual value. This is called the "endowment effect"

Old thought of the day

Old words about old stuff

Hi, I’m Jonathan. I’m a product manager, human-centered product strategist, former aerospace engineer, and amateur woodworker. I'm obsessed with food, animals, and airplanes, and spend most of my spare time driving my friends and family with useless facts and explanations of how the world works.

My sort of scattered and confusing background, while neither traditional nor totally intentional, allows me to analyze problems from many perspectives: What are the users feeling? What is the impact to the business? What will it take to build the solution? I look to the big picture to drive the little decisions, and always push to keep the vision in clear focus.
